Pulsed Voltage Pulse Generator

The AVO-6HZ-B pulsed voltage model is designed for pulsing laser diodes and other low impedance loads with rectangular current pulses as high as 10 Amperes and pulse widths as high as 50 us. The diode load is connected between two solder terminals on the fan cooled output module which connects to the mainframe via a 2 foot long 11 Ohm cable. The output module contains the elements necessary to match the diode to the mainframe. Optional plug-in (or screw-in) socket mounting of the diode is also available. If the output module is not used, the mainframe can be used to drive a 11Ù load directly. The AVO-6HZ-B operates to 100 kHz, at duty cycles of up to 5%. The pulse width is variable from 50 ns to 50 us.
