The 1710B offers dual trace inputs and dual timebase/delayed sweep at a price less than most new 100 MHz models. A well designed front-panel layout as well as color coded buttons aid in quickly finding control locations. A switchable 1 Mohm/50 ohms input impedance eliminates the need for 50 ohms feedthru terminations when observing fast rise time pulses. A mixed sweep function allows the user to sweep with timebase A up to the point of interest and automatically sweep at a different speed, determined by timebase B. Vertical range from 5 mV to 5 V/div, sweep range from 10 nS to 0.5 Sec/div.
