The Model 7166 consists of ten 2-pole, mercury-wetted,
reed relays and comes configured as a 1x10 multiplex scanner. That is, any or
all of the ten (2-pole) input channels can be routed to the output. The relay
card can be configured for use as a ten-channel switching card by removing
jumpers installed on the card. In this configuration, up to ten independent
inputs can be individually controlled and switched to a corresponding isolated
