The HP Agilent 8645A, Signal Generator, that combines high performance 252 kHz to 1.030 GHz bandwidth, Frequency-Agile capability and frequency agility for new fast-switching test requirements. The capabilities of the HP Agilent 8645A, Signal Generator, are important for performance testing of such devices as frequency agile radios and surveillance receivers. Besides extending traditional receiver testing to agile applications, the Agilent HP 8645A, Signal Generator, can be used to create complex signal simulations involving several modulation types and frequency agility.

The high performance and frequency agility of the Agilent HP 8645A, Signal Generator, provide capability for both static and agile test requirements with just one calibrated signal generator.

• High performance in-channel and adjacent channel measurements, both in static and agile operation
• Simultaneous FM, AM, and pulse modulation
• Maintains signal performance while switching frequencies as fast as 15 microsec from 128 to 2060 MHz
• Flexible control of frequency switching using HP-IB from the front panel or TTL connectors from the rear panel
