The 8654A Signal Generator is low cost, solid-state, and provides a calibrated output level over the frequency range of 10MHz to 520MHz in 6 bands. Frequency accuracy is ?2% after 30 minute warm-up while stability is 0.002% after a 1 hr warm-up. Internal oscillators provide both AM and FM at 400Hz and 1MHz. The front-panel meter accurately indicates AM percentage from 0 to 70%. Output power range is from +13 dBm to -100 dBm with an accuracy of ?1 dB. Level flatness is ?1 dB. AM modulation has a range of 0 to 80% with less than 4% distortion. FM peak deviation has a range of 0 to greater than 0.1%.
