The GSM BSIC Scanner is a high-speed, instrument grade scanning receiver. Receive signal strength and decoded base station identification code measurements are supported. Note that the digital receiver can be configured to conduct multiple independent scans including Best Server, Adjacent Carrier to Interference, custom lists, and band scans. The network independent measurements of the scanner complement phone-based measurements. By using the unit in conjunction with a commercial handset, the user may display and log quality of service measurements along with network independent RSSI and BSIC measurements.
