TEKTRONIX 380
The Tektronix 380 digital scope is a basic troubleshooting instrument
targeted primarily for the education, design, service and repair markets. With
the 380 model, customers can now obtain the benefits of digital scopes at a
price nearer analog scopes. With the digital capability of the Tektronix 380,
users can store set-ups and waveforms and perform 21 different automatic
measurements. They also benefit from the intuitive and simple interface that is
the hallmark of the entire Tektronix TDS scope family.
High-End Features Become Affordable
Tektronix achieved benchmark power, performance and price for the new 380
digital scope by adding standard features like Fast Fourier Transform (FFT)
capability for customers at no extra cost. FFT capability is useful for
analyzing harmonic content of signals in power supplies, noise in mixed
digital/analog systems, line current harmonics and vibration systems. It
features Tektronix' patented Digital Real-Time (DRT) oversampling technology,
which dramatically reduces aliasing and enables single-shot waveform capture at
the instrument's full bandwidth. The TDS 380's two channels digitize at a rate
of 2 gigasamples per second.
For design and repair users, the 3 1/2-inch DOS compatible floppy disk drive
built into the TDS 380 model is useful for storing reference waveforms,
downloading waveforms and setups and importing and exporting waveform values
into application programs.
Like earlier models, the Tektronix 380 scope offers
four acquisition modes: sample, envelope, average and peak detect. Video and
edge triggering capabilities are built in, along with the ability to capture
transients down to 1 nanosecond. If you are interested in the TEKTRONIX 380 or items similar to it, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
