The 6659A Programmable Sweep Generator combines microwave and microprocessor technology to produce a general-purpose swept signal source that makes accurate microwave measurements in automated or manual systems. While covering the frequency range from 0.01 to 26.5GHz, this generator offers leveled output of >10 mW (=18GHz), >5 mW (>18GHz). The 6659A has five sweep modes, as well as five CW frequencies and eight markers to enhance your network analyzer display of test data. In addition to the versatile frequency sweep modes, the 6659A has a power sweep with which the output is swept over a 15 dB range. Modulation capabilities: External AM (freq. response DC-50kHz); External FM and Phase-Lock. With the superior design of this generator you'll also get exceptional source match, signal purity, frequency accuracy, resolution, and output flatness to improve the accuracy of your microwave measurements.
