Agilent / Hewlett Packard Signal Generator 8672A The 8672A Synthesized Signal Generator, with a frequency range of 2GHz to 18GHz, this generator will cover those high frequency requirements. The RF output is constantly variable from +1 dBm to -120 dBm with an output impedance of 50 ohms. Spectral purity is excellent on this generator and phase-locked loop responses are optimized to allow the 8672A to exhibit the lowest possible single-sideband phase noise. It is programmable from the front-panel or a rear HP-IB connector. The generator is capable of both AM and FM modulation internally
