The test and measurement industry continues to consolidate, in 2012 Rohde & Schwarz UK purchased HAMEG UK. Note that the parent company HAMEG GmbH was acquired by the Rohde & Schwarz Germany based parent company in 2005. In the last 50 years, the HAMEG brand has been known for cost effective oscilloscopes up to 350 MHz. The acquisition of HAMEG expands the R&S product line into the lower priced T&M user market.
