| The 4654A Error Rate Test Receiver measures bit error rate, total errors, and error seconds at DS1, DS1C, or DS2 data rates. The unit can be set to measure errors for any 1 or all 4 of the DS1 channels in the DS2 signal, or for either or both DS1 channels in a DS1C signal. The receiver has a built-in real time clock with rechargeable battery back-up for error logging. The battery back-up also stores the operating mode and current measurement data. A 1000 hour clock is provided for elapsed time tests, and can be preset to count to zero for time and repeat tests, and can be preset to count to zero for time and repeat tests. |
