High Quality Refurbished Instruments

RF Power meter signals must be precise and of good quality in order to replicate and measure the output of the equipment to be tested. Types of equipment that can be tested with the RF Power Meter include; cellular telephones, radar system equipment and communication base station transmitters. As technology continues to improve and new design methods are created, signals become more complicated. They are more complicated to test and precise power measurements are required. Today’s Power Meters must be of good quality, be able to produce a variety of clear and precise frequencies, and offer a wide range of power.

When it comes to testing Microwave and RF Signal equipment, it is very important to have a power meter with a variety of features so to provide faster measurements and improved measurement speed. With today’s advances in testing equipment, Power meters can measure up to 400 readings per second. This is considered a very good speed with an absolute accuracy of around + or – 02 db. Some Power Meters are equipped with an easy to operate instrument panel with a LCD High resolution screen to view your results and provide quick solutions with minimum downtime. Power Meters are also equipped with VGA connections on the rear of units for the option of connecting a large monitor, which allows for display results on a much larger scale.

What Power Sensors Do You Require?
Temperature is a factor and can affect the accuracy of the readings of Power Meters. The hotter the climate becomes, the more inaccurate your readings may tend to be. Power Sensors assist in the correction of readings by using the Calibration factor and Reflection coefficient. These calibration factors stored in each power sensor are unique and can only be matched with certain pieces of equipment. The sensors can correct for frequency response by automatically reading the information which is stored in each sensor and uses the information to make the necessary corrections. The percentage of uncertainty with the corrections will vary with the increase in frequency.
